Bio-compost Yard and Vermi Compost Unit are being prepared under the Rashtriya Krushi Vikas Yogja (RKVY), so that better bio-compost & vermin-compost can be provided to the farmers on no profit no losses basis. Under this project, in the Year 2013-14 12001.860 M.Tons loose Bio-compost & 4970 bags (50 Kgs packing) enriched Bio-compost given to the farmer members by our Organization.

The testing of land/soil & testing of micronutrient are being carried out at free of cost in the Laboratory and Soil Health Card also issued to them so that farmer members enable to get better production on low cost. So that, farmers can get and utilizing proper quantity of manure as per their requirement and can reduce the production cost accordingly.

Factory have around 5 Acres of R & D farm. In this farm different promising sugarcane varieties are to be tested and prepare seeds and giving to the cane growing members.

Our Organization have brought Sugarcane Planter and Sugarcane Cutting Machine (Harvesting Machine) under Rashtriya Krushi Vikas Yojna (RKVY) looking to the scarcity/unavailability of laborers in the current period and so that farmers are able to plant / sow sugarcane at farming distance and thereby arrange for crushing/cutting through Harvesting Machine. During the Crushing Season 2013-14, by our organization total 19617.100 Metric tons sugarcane crushed/cut through Harvester Machine.

During the Season 2012-13 under the Scheme of “Technology Demonstration of Sugarcane on Farmers’ Field” and under the guidance of Navsari Agricultural University, there are observation/demonstration plots are arranged at every zone of the command areas so that, publicity can be made amongst farmers of sugarcane farming by modern scientific system and get more production at low cost at every acre.

Further to the above, as in the command area mainly the area are of canal irrigation and due to excess irrigation given by the farmers the layers of land are became hard and hence to break the said hard layers, our organization providing the “Sub Soiler” developed by the Agricultural University, Navsari to the farmers on lowest and reasonable rent (*)

Our organization arranging Khedut Shibir, Khedut Training & Field Visits so that farmers are able to get guidance Moreover, our organization deputing the employees of Agricultural Department at Agricultural University, Navsari, Vasantdada Sugar Institute, Pune and Sugarcane Breeding Institute, Coimbatore to gain and to become more conversant by the new technology so that he may in turn inform the same to the farmers.
